Marine Planning Workshops: Issues and Evidence – North West

The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) is holding a series of one-day workshops, including two here in the North West, in July as part of their tour around England to call for issues and supporting evidence for marine plan areas. The workshops will focus on highlighting the challenges, opportunities and needs of the North West Marine Plan area over the next 20 years and discuss how marine plans could address these by providing evidence and sharing ideas. During the workshops the MMO will be demonstrating their Marine Planning Evidence Base. These workshops build on the MMO marine planning launch events held in April and are an opportunity for more detailed discussion on marine planning.

The two North West workshops are as follows:

12th July, Kendal

13th July, Liverpool

Places are still available at both. To reserve your free place at one of the North West workshops follow this link

The North West Coastal Forum is pleased to announce that we will be co-Chairing and helping to deliver the Liverpool workshop, with our Coastal Partnership colleagues at Solway Firth Partnership helping to deliver the Kendal workshop.
