Across the Sands of Dee 2019 was an event delivered by the North West Coastal Forum as part of the Marine Management Organisation’s Enhancing Stakeholder Engagement project, funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.
It took place in Chester on 9th September 2019 and was well attended by cross-border stakeholders – those who have an interest in the Dee Estuary and wider Liverpool Bay and are existing or potential stakeholders for both the north west marine plans and the Welsh National Marine Plan. As well as updates on the north west marine plans and the Welsh National Marine Plan delegates participated in a workshop on the Dee Coastliners project considering partnership working and governance in the Dee Estuary and in a Marine Planning Challenge ‘serious’ game session to learn more about the marine planning process.
