Latest Coastal Access News – April 2014

On the 11th April coastal access rights formally commenced on the first stretch of the North West’s coast to be opened up as part of the English Coastal Path. This stretches 36 km from Allonby to Whitehaven. Defra’s Access Newsletter 61 (April 2014) is also downloadable below. In addition to news on the other stretches of English coast which have been formally commenced or are in progress it also contains information and a link to the Local Access Forum Annual Report 2012-13 compiled from the 85 LAFs in England.
