The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy is conducting a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) on the draft plan/programme to enable future offshore energy leasing and licensing for offshore wind, wave and tidal devices and licensing/leasing for seaward oil and gas rounds, hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide gas storage, and offshore hydrogen.
This purpose of this consultation is to identify issues of concern to provide information to enable the statutory consultation bodies and other interested parties to form a view and give feedback on the scope and level of detail of the information to be included in the SEA Environmental Report.
