Closed – Coastal Access – Birkenhead to the Welsh Border – Opportunity to Comment

Closes midnight, Wednesday 10th February 2021

On Wednesday 16th December 2020 Natural England submitted reports to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs setting out the proposals for improved coastal access from Birkenhead to the border with Wales. This route will form part of a continuous walking route around England’s coastline as set out in the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 and forms the southernmost section of the England Coast Path in the North West.

Objections to the proposals can only be made by owners, tenants or occupiers of affected land, however anyone can make a representation. For more information, including a range of reports and accompanying maps and how to make an objection or representation click here.
