The Capturing Our Coast (CoCoast) project, a UK based citizen science shore recording project has published a newsletter for December 2016 which looks forward to spring and the rest of 2017. The newsletter highlights the success of their recent ‘Spermwatch surveys’ which will continue into next year. New opportunities are highlighted such as taking part in their ‘Wonderful Waders’ survey and their barnacle photography experiment. Information about interesting coastal finds is detailed included a 13-legged sun star recorded in near Oban harbour.
