Morecambe Bay Cycle Way wins Cumbria Tourism Award for Tourism Experience of the Year

On 21st June Morecambe Bay Partnership picked up the coveted Cumbria Tourism Award for Tourism Experience of the Year 2017 for the Bay Cycle Way. North West Coast Connections Undertake Marine Surveys Under Morecambe Bay

The National Grid are currently undertaking major marine surveys in Morecambe Bay to gather information for the North West Coast Connections project. The project aims to create a tunnel between Heysham power station in Lancashire and Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria to directly route electricity cables.
