The Environment Agency is holding a consultation in preparation for the 2nd 6-yearly update of the River Basin Management Plans for England. They are seeking views on:
- the challenges that limit the benefits society obtains from the water environment in the river basin districts in England (the challenges)
- the best way to address these issues (the choices)
The information gathered from the Challenges and Choices consultation will help the Environment Agency update the current river basin management plans and a further consultation will take place on the revised draft plans in 2020.
