Defra has published the 2015 Bathing Waters Compliance Report. New, tougher bathing water standards are now in place with 4 categories: poor, sufficient, good and excellent. Blackpool Illuminations: Schools Competition

Closing date 5 p.m., 17th July. LOVEmyBEACH has teamed up with Blackpool Council and illuminations curator Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to launch the LOVEmyBEACH education pack for schools with a linked competition to design a new LOVEmyBEACH poster. The winning entry, judged by Laurence, will be announced in September and the poster will be transferred onto a
