The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has developed a Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
Local Nature Recovery Strategies set out to support the restoration and enhancement of nature. These strategies are being designed across England and outline the most valuable habitats in the area. Further, they present priorities for halting or reversing biodiversity decline. Within the LNRS, maps of the potential opportunities have been produced. The maps outline where projects to boost nature recovery or contribute to wider environmental benefits may have the most impact.
Note: Local Nature Recovery Strategies are not delivery plans and do not guarantee protection of the land or determine the use of the land.
Developers of the Liverpool LNRS are seeking your input. The development of LNRS are at the point of development where they are seeking public consultation. Irrespective of background, the consultation is open to all interested parties in the Liverpool City Region.
