The first public consultation on the Mersey Tidal Power project is now open. It offers local people and organisations the opportunity to comment on initial proposals for a tidal barrage across the River Mersey and its associated infrastructure.
The scheme will then be reviewed to finalise the proposals which will be taken forward to statutory consultation in the next stage, when a suite of documents will be presented at the Statutory Consultation for comment.
