Closed – Consultation: Draft Flood Risk Management Plans

Closed 23:45 21st January 2022

The Environment Agency is consulting on draft Flood Risk Management Plans (FRMPs) for England. These are strategic plans setting out how to manage flood risk in nationally identified flood risk areas for the next 6 years. They are statutory plans required by the Flood Risk Regulations 2009.

There are 10 draft FRMPs, one for each river basin district. There are 3 which may be of interest to North West residents and businesses: the North West FRMP, the Solway Tweed FRMP and the Dee FRMP.
