Wholescape Approach to Marine Management North West and South West Regional Workshop September 22nd 2020

Funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, and managed by The Rivers Trust and the Coastal Partnerships Network, the Wholescape Approach to Marine Management ‘WAMM’ project aims to support a more collaborative approach between Coastal and Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) partnerships to enhance delivery for the coastal and estuarine environment nationwide.

A series of  regional workshops is planned to build knowledge and expertise across a range of issues including data and evidence, policy and legislation and, the benefits of collaborative working. The workshops (free to all Coastal and CaBA partnerships) will also provide the opportunity to meet other partnerships and initiate collaboration with potential partners, hear about project case studies and discuss barriers and opportunities to collaborative delivery.

Due to COVID-19 the North West (Chester) and South West (Exeter) workshops origionally planned for spring 2020 will now take place as one combined online event on 22nd September 2020.

These workshops are free of charge and are funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) to support a more an integrated and collaborative approach to the management of estuarine and coastal waters nationwide.
