Closed – consultation: Arnside & Silverdale AONB Management Plan 2019-24

The Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership is reviewing the Arnside & Silverdale AONB Partnership Management Plan on behalf of Lancaster City Council, South Lakeland District Council, Lancashire County Council and Cumbria County Council, who have a statutory duty to review the AONB Management Plan every 5 years.

The Plan is a statutory document that sets out a framework of objectives and actions to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the area over for the period 2019-24.

It encourages positive and collaborative action to look after the landscape, wildlife and heritage of the AONB.

Comments are sought on the draft Management Plan and supporting documents (Environmental Report and Habitats Regulations Assessment) by 3rd December 2018.
