Coastal Partnerships Annual Forum 2018 – 27 & 28 November, Cardiff

The Coastal Partnerships Network Annual Forum is the national Continuing Professional Development event for Coastal Partnership Officers, members of their Steering Groups or Boards, partner representatives and anyone who works, or is interested in working, in partnership on the coast. It provides up to date information on the latest legislation and key issues affecting or affected by coastal management and helps to showcase different aspects of the work of coastal partnerships to inspire others. It also serves as the key networking event for CPN members and partner organisations, enabling them to build links and benefit from shared experience on a national scale.

This year’s event will be spread over two days, starting with a field visit to the Severn Estuary and followed by an afternoon of speakers representing initiatives that provide new opportunities, from the newly launched Marine Social Sciences Network to the Marine CoLABoration and Living Coast Project.

There will be coastal fora updates from the MPA/EMS network, Coastal Communities Alliance and LGA Coastal SIG, and the chance to hear all the lastest news and activities from Coastal Partnerships around the UK. Two workshops are featured, one Exploring the Role of the Coast in Health and Wellbeing and a second focusing upon Coastal Partnerships and Marine Planning, in association with the EMFF Enhancing Stakeholder Engagement Project. The event is a unique opportunity to share the wealth of experience Coastal Partnerships possess and identify new areas for collaboration and partnership working – don’t miss your chance to attend!

Cost: A fee of £85 (inclusive of booking fee) per delegate includes both days of the conference, the field trip and a networking dinner on the evening of the 27th. This does not cover accommodation.
