Consultation: Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Management Plan

Closes 12th February 2018

The Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Management Plan is being reviewed and there is an online consultation seeking comments and suggestions. The consultation is an opportunity to put forward views to be taken into account in preparing the Draft AONB Management Plan to cover the period 2019-24, which will be available for formal public consultation in late 2018.

The Arnside & Silverdale AONB Management Plan is a statutory document which sets out a shared vision and framework for working together to conserve and enhance this nationally designated landscape for future generations. The AONB Partnership is carrying out the review on behalf of the four responsible local authorities, Lancashire County Council, Cumbria County Council, Lancaster City Council and South Lakeland District Council.
