Closed – Consultation on the De-designation of Roanhead and Askam In Furness as Bathing Waters

Closing Date: 31st January 2014

Barrow Borough Council is currently consulting on people’s views and opinions on the proposed de-designation of ‘Roanhead’ and ‘Askam In Furness’ as bathing waters from 2014.  The consultation document details the rationale behind the proposal and gives clear indications for the need to de-designate on grounds of safety and bather user numbers in line with the current ‘Bathing Water Regulations 2013’.
